The 62-unit CAAHEP accredited medical assisting diploma program will prepare students to perform clinical and administrative duties in a medical office. Students will learn how to prepare patients for exams and treatments, take vital signs and measurements, collect and process specimens and perform diagnostic tests, obtain an electrocardiogram, identify drug classifications and calculate dosage. Medical Insurance Billing and Coding - Diploma
This 52-unit MIBC diploma program will prepare students to properly code diagnoses and procedures by using standardized coding application software and to prepare reimbursement and medical insurance claims. Students will also learn to use ethical and legal principles in coding and billing processes. This program will help prepare students to sit for the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam. Candidates must have a U.S. high school diploma or equivalent.

Medical Office Administration - Diploma
This 66-unit MOA diploma program will prepare students to perform medical office administrative tasks, such as reception of patients, use of medical billing codes, complete insurance claim forms, and maintenance of patient records.
